Programs

In Action

Dedicated teams of teachers throughout Newark are implementing student-centered programs that are having a demonstrable impact on teacher practice, classrooms, and school communities. Nearly 200 teachers in 39 teams at 31 schools across Newark’s five wards have formed professional learning communities to collaboratively design programs that dramatically improve student opportunities and outcomes.
FNF works to cultivate these talented teacher teams who are committed to their own growth and to the growth of their students, and empower them to be leaders in the schools and communities they serve.
